Rachel Lee Young
Digital Photography - Celebrating the natural Caribbean and the beauty of her people
Trinidad and Tobago

Like to improve your digital photography? Contact me for information on my one day seminars.

I'm an electronic engineer and management consultant by training, but my passion for photography has been allowed to flourish in recent years while I've been raising my two young boys in Trinidad.

I started out with an Agfa Sillette that I bought from a white elephant stall when I was about 11 years old and after progressing through a variety of 35mm outfits I started to explore the potential of digital photography in 2001. With the purchase of a Nikon D70 in 2004 there has been no looking back and I have really found my niche in capturing the beauty of flowers and views in the wonderful surroundings of the Caribbean where I have been living for the last ten years.

I upgraded to D200 in 2006 and a D300 in 2008, along with several upgrades in lenses as I started to push the boundaries of my photographic skills. I now undertake numerous portrait commissions, including school portraits and I have developed a series of short courses for those wishing to make the most of their digital cameras.

I hope you enjoy my work, don't hesitate to send me an email if you would like further information or have any comments!
